The Sherborne Jazz Quartet are a
professional function band, providing classic swing and dance grooves for any
occasion.
The Quartet features saxophone, piano, bass and drums, but can be
expanded to suit your requirements, introducing trumpet, guitar, or guest
vocalist. The Sherborne Jazz Quartet play mainstream and bebop Jazz, Jazz-Funk
and Latin styles for dancing.
From the ballads of Gershwin and Cole Porter, to the energy and excitement of
Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie; from the cool of Miles Davis and Thelonius
Monk, to the Latin & dance grooves of Jobim, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock, the
aim is to bring you the jazz sounds we all love.
