A Casino Evening is the most popular way of running a charity event. People purchase the fun Money for say £5.00 sterling which then buys £25.00 fun Money which can be personalised they take the Fun Money to the table of their choice and exchange it for chips. At the end of the evening last three hands and last three spins are announced and the person ( persons ) with the most chips wins a prize ( Please note) The fun money has no real value and is not exchangeable for sterling you are only playing for prizes donated by the charity/sponsor.

A Casino Night fundraiser is a popular and profitable way for charitable organisations to raise money. Every successful casino fundraiser has one thing in common - a good turnout. If people show up, they will spend money and your profits will follow. Non-profit organisations especially enjoy a casino model for fundraising because their benefactors are easily entertained while donating money. A Cabaret Casino Casino Night fundraiser has the look and feel of a real Las Vegas casino! The only difference from Las Vegas is that A Cabaret Casino dealers do not accept real currency at the gaming tables. A Cabaret Casino Event FUN money is used at all the gaming tables in exchange for casino-style chips. Betting limits and chip values are displayed at gaming tables and are determined by your committee.

Unlike Las Vegas however, no real money is won as a result of gaming. Players become eligible to win prizes when gaming closes by exchanging their casino winnings/chips for raffle tickets. Prizes would need to be donated for several drawings at the end of the evening. A players’ chance to win a prize is limited to the number of raffle tickets they earned by playing the casino games. Cabaret Casino dealers, the Casino Managers, and Casino Hostess will exchange winnings at the rate of (1) raffle ticket for every £100.00 in casino chips or £100.00 in unused Cabaret Casino FUN money. Your committee has the option to change this model to better suit the needs of the organization.

Achieving donations from others often requires some form of incentive. The cost of the casino should be incorporated in the ticket money, as you would the cost of a band or disco. Any money which is raised directly from the gaming tables will go direct to the charity. You will need at least three prizes, these may have been donated. They can range from cuddly toys, champagne, through to television sets and holidays. Perhaps a booby prize for the best loser. A good way of keeping 'low' winners interested is to seal a pre-determined low number in an envelope. Whoever registers the amount closest to that number wins a prize. You may decide to give your guests chips to start them off. While in some cases this is a good idea, it is unsuitable where a large amount of people is expected, ie over 150. The ratio of tables to guests to playing time must be considered. Our gaming director will be happy to advise you. We suggest you man your own cash desk. A small table set up in the casino room where one or two of your personnel can exchange real money for Cabaret money. Should this not be possible please inform us.

HORSE RACING

As your guests arrive or when you think appropriate, they will be given a predetermined amount of CABARET CASINO money, with this they can purchase throughout the event their tote tickets. At the end of the RACE MEETING the winner or winners is determined by whoever holds the most money and therefore receive the prize(s) on offer or you may decide to auction the prizes off to the highest bidder through the fun money.

We have been advised by the VAT department that under the new legislation regarding VAT, the VAT must still be paid on Fun Casinos as they are regarded as an entertainment not a service.
